This warm and compassionate drama, a prize winner at Cannes, is laced with deadpan humour. In a secluded valley two brothers who have not spoken for decades, Gummi and Kiddi, live side by side tending their prizewinning sheep. A lethal disease infects one flock and they have to fight together to save themselves and their sheep from extinction.

at 3pm (doors open 2.30pm; café open) and evening showings at 7.30pm (bar from 6.45pm).

Non-members may pay at the door – £3.00 matinees, £4.00 evenings.

Most matinee showings are subtitled – even English-language films.
