Topsham Film Society will start film screenings in October
In July we asked our members to indicate if they would attend a film screening in Matthews Hall in October. They were also asked what measure they felt had to be in place to reassure them that it was a Covid secure venue.

We had a fantastic response and I would like to thank all TFS members who took part in our the survey, the results were very encouraging.
Over 70% of those that responded indicated that they would come to see a film in Matthews Hall.
Understandably some people felt that at this time they would not feel comfortable coming to watch a film and wished us every success.

Our first screening on Friday October 2nd will be GREEN BOOK and our second film in October is YESTERDAY on Friday 23rd October. Screenings are at 3.00 and 7.30 pm

The screening in October will be open to existing TFS MEMBERS ONLY.
Unfortunately guests cannot attend as the capacity of the hall has been severely reduce to between 20-40 members per screening
We will operate a lottery system to allocate places.

Covid secure measures

When entering and leaving the hall you must sanitise your hands and wear a mask. It will be necessary to wear a mask during the screening.

All the chairs will be cleaned before each screening.

You may bring your own cushions and drinks as we will not be operating a bar and Matthews Hall's cushions will not be available.

We continue to work with Matthews Hall to make sure we can safely screen a film while adhering to the current government guidelines.

Additional details will be emailed to members as required.
