March 2021 News

Topsham Film Society’s committee has decided to cancel this season of films.
We have worked hard to try to make this season work and this has been an extremely difficult decision to make. As you know, we had been hopeful that we could screen postponed films at a later date in the spring.
Unfortunately, due to the continuing lockdown and the uncertainty as to when Covid restrictions will be lifted, it has become obvious that the whole season of 12 films will have to be cancelled.
Rescheduling a programme of 12 films over the summer months once the Covid restrictions had been lifted would have been very difficult.
Summer is always a busy time in Topsham. TFS members, the committee and other people in our community have many commitments, and other interests they like to pursue during the summer.
We are planning to start our next season of films slightly earlier in the autumn. We might even do a couple of surprise summer screenings! Probably most of the films we show over the next 12 months will be those we had planned to show in the 2020-21 season.
If you are a current TFS member, your membership will roll over and be valid for the next season of films in 2021-22. You will also be entitled to members' privileges at any additional screenings we may be able to put on before next season begins. But if you would prefer a refund of your membership fees then please contact TFS on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
We will keep in touch and update you on a regular basis.
