January 8th 2021
A modern Mark Twain style adventure story, it tells the story of Zak (Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a residential nursing home to follow his dream of attending the professional wrestling school. A strange turn of events pairs him on the road with Tyler (LaBeouf), a small time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally.
The Peanut Butter Falcon is a comedy-drama film written and directed by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz, in their feature film directorial debuts, and starring Shia LaBeouf, Zack Gottsagen and Dakota Johnson.

Danny Leigh FT
LaBeouf is scruffily compelling, while the pinpoint comic timing of Gottsagen should be a lesson to any drab corners of the film industry still resisting disabled actors.

Tom Robey Daily Telegraph
The Peanut Butter Falcon gets two cheers... for its redemptive warmth and a troupe of actors unfailingly bringing out the best in each other.
